The Church of the Most Holy Name of Mary at the Trajan Forum, Rome, Itlay, c1930s. Trajans Forum was the last imperial forum to be built in Rome. It was completed in 112 AD, and Trajans Column, commemorating the emperors victorious campaign against the Dacians, was finished the following year. Designed by a French architect, Antoine Derizet, the Baroque Church of the Most Holy Name of Mary (Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano) was built between 1736 and 1741.
